Functions:

- Cleans the oil from small and non-burning impurities.

- Rarely needed maintenance.

- Protects the burners from impurities that can get stuck in the nozzles (i.e small metal particles, etc.).

- Prevents emergence of sediment in the fuel preheat box.

Filter -                   Two-layer nylon sock over an inner grid-type cylinder

Suggested to be used if there is a possibility that the fuel in use will have impurities or sediment.
